String Revolution exists to perform and teach strategies of improvisation and contemporary creative string music to students and teachers through workshops and live concerts. We are devoted to ensemble playing in order to build community by example. Our repertoire is rooted in improvisation and world rhythms to demonstrate the versatility of our instruments outside of their western classical music identities.

Hobo Chili is a unique band, a truly pleasant surprise. An energetic rock & roll outfit suited with a full horn section and all orginal music. Hobo Chili brings themes of funk, soul, blues, motown, punk and ska to Boston's music scene and is guaranteed to get an audience on its feet to dance, and enjoy the music.

Dirty Water Brass Band, a Boston-based undefinable raucous street band, a staunch contributor to the many grooves that make this town tick. We bring our movable block party to you, doesn’t matter where. Our style is eclectic, a mix of second line, soul, R&B, Motown, rock, jazz and more. And we do NOT "have to be in by twelve o'clock!"
This year, Dirty Water is totally psyched to be playing for you on and by the front stoop of the Revolutionary Medical MJ Clinic in East Somerville. Kudos to the city for welcoming such an establishment to this great neighborhood.
Feel free to "love that Dirty Water" at: https://www.facebook.com/dirtywaterbrassband.
