Brickbottom Artists Open Studios
The BAA open studios are held in the fall before thanksgiving. Typically over 50 artists in the complex open their homes and studios to the public.
Joy Street Open Studios
A studio building in the heart of the Brickbottom district. Open studios are typically held in conjuction with Brickbottom Open Studios in the fall.
Miller Street Studios
Miller Street Studios is a community of over 35 artists and artisans working in a broad range of media, including: painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, animation, clay, glass, bookbinding, a violin studio and more. Located at 11 Miller Street, the artists host a biannual open studios event in the month of April.
Somerville Open Studios
Somerville Open Studios has grown into one of the largest open studios events in greater Boston involving more than 400 artists and giving thousands of visitors a chance to meet artists in the spaces where they work. SOS is typically held the first weekend in May.
Vernon Street Open Studios
Over sixty artists welcome the public into their workspaces at 6 & 20 Vernon Street, a community well known throughout the area for the quality of work produced by artists with established reputations as well as exciting newcomers. Located in an historic 19th-century brick industrial building, Vernon Street housed the first group of artists in Somerville to open their studios to the public in 1975. Their open studios are held in conjunction with SOS in May and solo in November.
