Ghosts! Bigfoot! Accordion! Alluring band names! If you like any of these things, pop by Hancock street for a free show by this spooky rock trio. Your Friends in Hell can be seen playing at The Jungle or at events like Halfoween at The Rockwell, or this time around, for free on our favorite day of the year, porchfest. Despite the spooky name, Your Friends in Hell are fun, friendly, danceable, and are only going to swear like... two times, three, tops.

For a second year I'll be dragging most of my studio out to Porchfest. Come by for Pop, R&B, and HipHop-influenced covers, originals, and beats... and maybe an acoustic set? This year is going to be a bit loose, it's a busy spring and I'm going to need any material I can get together. Might even open the mic up — if you freestyle, come through and we'll see what happens! Everyone welcome, especially dogs though

We are going to start soft and easy. Then crank up the volume with some fast and hard music. Swing by for a good time!

Fool The Bear is an acoustic guitar-centered project that combines with electric guitar, djembe and other percussion instruments to create a stripped down roots rock sound with a punch.

Serving up unvarnished lyrical truths, Doc Huth and the Uncouth Youth will put hair on your tooth but go down smooth as vermouth. For decades this acclaimed string band has enraptured audiences of all ages with an eclectic fusion of bluegrass, folk, punk, and rock that will have you tapping your feet, dampening your cheeks, and crying out for more!

We are a duo that writes, records, and preforms original Indie/Blues/Psychedelic music. We met at Husson University in Maine, and have recently been working on a studio album. We love to jam! Also, our live performances include covers along with our original music.

Your Friends in Hell are the spooky weirdos who combine toe tapping rock songs with a splash of punk, a bit of haunted doowap, and a confounding amount of accordion to create an act that you won't want to miss. If you like ghosts, angst, and bigfoot, this is the porch for you.

Jackslaw is a four-piece rock/blues/funk outfit: 2 guitars, 1 bass, and drums. But when one guitarist and our only bassist can't make the new Porchfest date, exit Jackslaw... enter: HALF-SLAW. Electric cables and the number 4 be damned! We are now a duo, featuring Dan DiBacco on acoustic guitar/vox, and Mike Staxfeld on his brand new, never-been-played, Guitar Center-fresh-smelling cajon. The two of us are pumped to play some eclectic covers and a few originals for you beautiful Somervillians in this limited format, so please swing by to enjoy some good tunes/vibes!
