We are a hard rock, indie, blues band that plays all original music. Our influences are Muse, White Stripes, Radiohead, Nirvana, The Black Keys, Beatles, and similar bands. Jam band -- bluesy, funky, free. Formed in Fall of 2021 and based in Cambridge.

Foam? Spring? Twin? California king? No matter what your preference, Big Jon and the Mattress Factory is here to ease that chronic back pain. The Boston-based rock band specializes in frequencies designed to loosen you up and straighten you out. For the past five years, BJ&TMF has been writing songs that tear into the very hypoallergenic fabric of 60s-70s rock and blues. 

The Velvet Dirtmunchers are a genre-bending sextet from Medford, Somerville, and Cambridge featuring sultry vocals, squeezebox, and impudent (mouthy! hellacious!) horns.

From Stevie Wonder to James Taylor, John Coltrane to Carole King, classic songs to original compositions…join The Moscas and traverse the styles, sounds, and genres of music with freedom and spontaneity. Baker Thomas Band has been participating in Somerville's Porchest since its inception in 2011.
BAKER THOMAS BAND has always been an eclectic collection of musicians and good friends getting together to make great music and have a blast. With anywhere from 7 to 10 and even more musicians on stage, the BTB is a wrecking ball of good times and rockin' tunes. Clever and catchy hit songs cover the spectrum of classic rock, funk and groove, with hints of bluegrass and jam band.... so many influences... one big sound.

The True Levellers are a Lynn-based traditional folk, old time, country, and blues band featuring:

Jackslaw is a four-piece rock/blues/funk outfit: 2 guitars, 1 bass, and drums. But when one guitarist and our only bassist can't make the new Porchfest date, exit Jackslaw... enter: HALF-SLAW. Electric cables and the number 4 be damned! We are now a duo, featuring Dan DiBacco on acoustic guitar/vox, and Mike Staxfeld on his brand new, never-been-played, Guitar Center-fresh-smelling cajon. The two of us are pumped to play some eclectic covers and a few originals for you beautiful Somervillians in this limited format, so please swing by to enjoy some good tunes/vibes!
