Every performance by Son Mass carries an enormous energy force characterized not only by its jazz-like harmonies and arrangements, but also by its extensive collective improvisation, while inevitably making the audience get on their feet and dance. Son Mass, a modern Salsa band that represents and celebrates the cultural diversity within the Latinoamerican community of Massachusetts. Its members represent countries and continents such as: Cuba, Japan, Venezuela, Colombia, Panama, United States and Puerto Rico, among others.

Banda da Samba features Fernando Holz on voice and guitar, Marcelo Ornelas on cavaquinho, and Jean Michel and Julio Santos on percussion. All natives of Brazil and deeply steeped in the sounds of Samba, their music will offer the perfect sultry soundtrack for a summer day and will be sure to get your feet moving. Get ready to samba!

The OPENAIR Circus is a Somerville based non-profit organization, offering classes for children in the summer, workshops for children and adults, and performance opportunities for its students. As a community based organization, the OPENAIR Circus works to encourage neighborhood participation in the arts, and to promote leadership and self-esteem for children and teens.

MacKenzie and Erin are multidisciplinary circus artists based in Boston, MA. They bonded over a mutual love of vintage inspired costumes and a shared interest in partner juggling. MacKenzie and Erin began juggling together in late 2021 and formed their duo shortly thereafter. The Gin Rickey Jugglers have performed across New England at festivals, stage shows, and street fairs.

The Gin Rickey Jugglers will be roaming around the festival from 1:00 - 4:00pm.

Flutterby Faeries

Has your life been lacking in sparkle, magic, and general whimsy? Have no fear, the faeries are here! We love going to festivals, parties, parades, birthdays, and more! We’re based out of Somerville, but we can bring magic to wherever you are! Come flutter with Flutterby Faeries!

The Flutterby Faeries will be roaming around the festival from 12:30 -3:30pm.

Flamenco Boston

Flamenco Boston was founded in 2007. The organization’s mission is to bring more flamenco to the Boston area by providing flamenco dance classes, workshops, and performances. Flamenco is an eclectic art form originating from Andalusia (a region in the South of Spain,) blending together the influences of the Andalusians, Moors, Sephardic Jews, Indians, and Gitanos.

DrumatiX, led by Israeli artist Noa Barankin, blends tap, body percussion, creative drumming, and tech in high-energy, interactive and family-friendly performances and workshops.

DrumatiX will present "Rhythm Delivered", a family-friendly and humor-infused performance of tap dance, body percussion, drumming, audience interaction, and technology. The program is based on time, rhythm, a never-ending pulse. The pieces are connected by musical and movement motifs that reappear over the span of the performance.

Laura Sanchez Flamenco

Laura Sánchez is an award-winning flamenco dancer and multidisciplinary artist who explores her own personal struggles to create interdisciplinary pieces with flamenco at the core to explore trauma, grief, and intersecting identities. Her work elevates the voice of traditionally underrepresented groups.
