The Romanian folk music you didn't know you desperately needed. 

Balla Kouyate, a West African balafon player and singer coming out of the Djeli tradition of Mali, was awarded a National Heritage Fellowship from the NEA. Mike Block is an American cellist/singer/composer, and a Grammy Award-winning musician with the Silkroad Ensemble. Balla Kouyaté and Mike Block have been collaborating for over a decade, bonding over their shared interest in music from across the world, and their commitment to innovating on their instruments.

Sapatnik performs a fusion of traditional music from the Balkans, South America, Europe, and U.S. combined with modern funk, R&B, rock, indie, and psychadelica. Each member of the group writes and performs original songs, creating an eclectic yet unified sound which guides you on a musical journey through time and space.

Need a pick-me-up? Pacific Marimba is a 7-piece marimba and percussion ensemble performing feel-good, lively dance music and songs originating from Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Botswana. The instruments we perform include soprano, tenor, alto, and bass marimbas, mbira (thumb piano), hosho (shakers), and drums. Come get your groove on and rock out to the fun-loving band that is Pacific Marimba!

We celebrate another year of life the great spirit grants us by playing rock & roll until you lose control! Join The Love Shamans for our second year playing porchfest the first one was incredible and our first proper show as a group and after almost a year of playing around Boston and a line-up addition were back in black and hope its even better this year. Chicken Scratch is entirely amateur and pure fun. We're just a bunch of neighbors who got together during the pandemic to play music and save our sanity. Now we have a repertoire of songs that range from "Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens" to klezmer waltzes. Ruchika Madan on clarinet, Delia Marshall and Marisa Kelath on violin, Annie Silverman on accordion and Liza Kitchell on keyboards and vocals. 

SheBoom is a post-menopausal percussion and vocal ensemble. We perform mashups of Brazilian rhythms and popular songs, tutored by Brazilian master percussionist Marcus Santos.
