Mary P & the Friendly Friends: Each year different friends join Mary on her "forever home" porch on Morrison Ave. This year friends from across the country contributed to a few collaborative videos that we hope will convey some of the spirit, spontaneity, and joyfulness of Porchfest. The set contains mainly sing-along favorites that are all kid-friendly. (It’s generally the stuff you might sing in the woods around a campfire.)
This event is BYO: hula hoops, chalk, bubbles, and lemonade. We’ll definitely be bringing bubbles.

Phil and the Flying Leap re-weaves the tapestry of Western popular song, marrying early jazz, French chanson, Golden-Age musical theater, and bluesy, radio-ready Americana. Songwriter Phil Berman's lyrics usher the Great American Songbook into our hyper/dis-connected 21st century reality, crafting joyfully queer songs to navigate, question, and affirm the human heart in an increasingly absurd digital world.
We'll be releasing a brand-spankin', socially-distant, multiple-instrumentationalized NEW song off our upcoming NEW record just for you, Somerville! We'll be premiering it on our Facebook page at 4pm, tune on in!

Kerrville New Folk winning songwriter Amy Kucharik [/kuh-CHAR-ick/] energizes swing dance, folk festival and listening room audiences alike. Drawing from blues, folk and Vaudeville traditions and with a street-smart stagecraft honed in the subways of Boston, Amy transports her audience to a place both timeless and familiar, but nevertheless innovative. As a one-woman band with ukulele, tenor guitar, foot percussion, mouth trumpet and harmonica, Amy combines poignant, witty lyricism and an infectious, danceable swing. Amy was a Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artist for 2018 and Somerville Arts Council's Artist of the Month in December 2018.

THE LOFT presents Couchfest 2020 from our homes. We had hoped, like everyone else, to be live in Somerville on the loading dock of our building but now we'll play from home live! We'll feature local artists:
Audrey Ryan (www.audreyryan.com) indie rock singer-songwriter, host of Loft Shows in Somerville.
Ana Karina Dacosta
Helenor (https://www.helenorhelenor.com) you have to hear it to believe it.

Kids Luv Cops - Emotionally charged folk-punk about the road to self improvement. We bring the kazoos and maracas, you bring the flair.
Lonesome Joan - Open-tuned post-folk sadcore. Come for delicate songs about triumphant isolation, stay for personal mythologies of springtime crush hell and trivia about trees.
Pizzafish - A spin-off of I'm Doing Okay. How Are You? where the songs are supposed to be about joy but end up actually being about resilience. Now with 100% more whammy bar.
Suburban Adventure - Fenn from The Baja Blasters playing sad songs for burrito lovers. Music for huge fans of both the mall and 2004.
