Niagara Moon is Thomas Erwin + other collaborators, most notably his singing partner Huimin Wan.
Specializing in mellow, lushly produced indie-pop songs that combine the intricate melodies of Pet Sounds and Sgt. Peppers with the 21st century style of artists like Of Montreal and Belle & Sebastian, Niagara Moon's sound is often whimsical, sardonic, and mildly psychedelic. When performing live, Thomas and Huimin employ a simpler, stripped-back sound - singing harmonies together over acoustic & electric piano.

An acoustic set of songs and instrumentals in the folk-blues-rock tradition. Featuring Lev Kendrick on acoustic guitar and vocals and Emily Burkes-Nossiter on violin, percussion, and vocals. We regret that Wes Nickerson could not join them due to illness.

The Loft & Boss Organ presents:
4pm: Singer-songwriter Audrey Ryan, an indie rock “one-man-band” multi-instrumentalist, will share the stage with special guest Will Dailey, an acclaimed independent recording and performing artist. His sound has been described as having a rich vintage vibe while having a firm appreciation of AM rock, pop and big hooks.
5pm: Otis Grove is a collective that crosses traditional organ jazz sound with funk, hip-hop, and rock tones. Their music is based in groove and free in improvisation, yet rooted in songwriting and melodic structure. A unique blend of aggressive rock n' roll and high-intensity organ funk that some fans have dubbed their genre 'Runk'

Folk, guitar, voice. Succulent, sweet, surprises. Bubbles, hula hoops, chalk.
Petite person, booming vocals that can stop fixies in their tracks.
Also, sometimes an 80's sing-a-long song on ukulele thrown in, because we're grown ups and we can do what we want.
Want to hear something? If you request it and I know it? I'll play it.
*Also, though not specifically geared towards kids, people of all ages tend to listen joyfully. I think you'll like it.

Mary P & the Friendly Friends: Each year different friends join Mary on her "forever home" porch on Morrison Ave. This year friends from across the country contributed to a few collaborative videos that we hope will convey some of the spirit, spontaneity, and joyfulness of Porchfest. The set contains mainly sing-along favorites that are all kid-friendly. (It’s generally the stuff you might sing in the woods around a campfire.)
This event is BYO: hula hoops, chalk, bubbles, and lemonade. We’ll definitely be bringing bubbles.
Listen anytime by following the FB link. See you in the future!

Christ the King Somerville will be hosting three bands this year! Warsaw, Lauren Pratt, and the CTKS Jam Band. Warsaw is a three-member band whose songs draw from ambient, electronic and rock influences and seek to juxtapose thoughtful lyrics with evocative and lush soundscapes. Lauren Pratt is an award-winning singer/songwriter with Celtic and Southern influences. Her fingerpicking and lulling, melodic voice combine to bring her ballad storytelling to life. The CTKS Jam Band is full of music lovers and is happy to combine those loves into a performance! There will be pop. There will be sing-a-longs. There will be music!
