We are a group of close friends who love to sing and pick down some old country, americana, and folks music. Come on over for a good old fashioned time!

Bealtaine is a group of friends who play Irish and a bit of Scottish traditional music. Some of us play professionally, others just for fun. We frequently get together for house parties and enjoy sharing our tunes and love of the music with others. Come join us for some tunes and a few songs, "craic agus ceol" (good times/fun and music).

Inspired by playing and singing each others songs at their own "porch parties", these established Boston area musicians and singer/songwriters decided to combine their individual talents and create their own brand of Urban Folk, Country and Blues. They took their act on the road and "Porch Party Mamas" was born. All are seasoned players, each with their own pervasive individual music persona and critical accolades. Between them, they have shared the stage with a distinguished litany of artists, including Willie Nelson, the Indigo Girls and Lyle Lovett.

Come sing with us! Weather permitting, we'll have a grill, a cooler of drinks, a bunch of chairs, and a nigh-bottomless repertoire. Give us a song (especially one with a good chorus!) and we'll let you partake.
We're a somewhat fluid group of singers and session leaders, founders and organizers of Somerville's monthly pub sing at the Armory and Boston's monthly chantey sing at the USS Constitution Museum. Many of us perform at folk festivals and other events in various configurations. Regulars include: Jeff Keller, Jeremy and Angela Kessler, Lynn Noel, Anabel Graetz, and Lynn Feingold.
