The Mass Whole Notes are a semi-professional, co-ed, a cappella group which came together in early 2010. Our members are from Somerville, Quincy, JP, Brookline, Brighton, and Allston. Our current repertoire includes songs by Paul Simon, Fitz and the Trantrums, Bruno Mars, Fun., Macklemore, Of Monsters and Men, and The Temptations just to name a few. We like to sing a wide variety of music, and we are passionate about making great music, performing and having fun!

Progressive folk-ish rock, with a dark, nerdy twist. Come hear songs from our in-progress new album, a "folk-rock opera" about a war between humans and the fae.

We are a chill, relaxed cover band that covers songs from a variety of folk, oldies, and rock groups along with playing a few original songs.

Anna Snow combines forces with guitarist Chris Keiffer to create their own brand of ambient-folk. With evocative lyrics and vocals and intricate guitar work, the duo captivates listeners with their otherworldly soundscapes.

Austin Mackey, John Grealish, and Josh Snyder make up this trio which fuses bluegrass, folk, and jazz into a two guitar, double bass, and vocal cocktail. Don't be fooled by the name, we go hard but not as hard as a punk band. Stop by to hear some creative twists on classic tunes.

Hailey Magee and Steve Nardone, two up-and-coming local singer-songwriters, are psyched to bring their gritty lyrics, rolling melodies, and dazzling good looks to Porchfest 2015. Hailey's upbeat combination of folk and jazz, combined with Steve's soulful blend of folk, blues, and Americana, creates a vibe you will not want to miss. Regular performers at the Lizard Lounge, the Burren, and other local venues, Hailey and Steve will be playing and collaborating on their own originals and promoting late-summer EP releases.

Americana/Folk with originals by Lucy and covers by the whole group. There will be fiddles, xylophones, voices of all shapes and colors, and guitars too. Lucy does classical music by trade, so be prepared for a bit of Bach at some point. Swing on by, we'll be on the back porch with plenty of room for folks on the lawn.

The Somerville Ukulele Club is the winsome fivesome of Elizabeth Hoey, Abby Taylor, Jenn Sutkowski, Ashley Holtgraver, and Emily Taylor. We like strumming, banging on triangles, and making our own dreamy versions of classics by the likes of Prince, Sam Cooke, R. Kelley, Duran Duran, and Natalie Imbruglia.
