Rock

This Couchest performance is called "Mike Talks to Non-rock Songs With His Electric Guitar." This is how I like to warm up when I practice electric guitar. I improvise along with songs I like, and it's often a little more interesting when there's not already a rock guitar in the song.

It will only go about 15 minutes. Being improvisational, I think it's best enjoyed live so I encourage you to tune in at 12pm if you are interested. I also don't know if Facebook's digital scanners will allow me to repost it after the fact, since I will be using popular songs.
 

Ajda the Turkish Queen is a well-established Boston-area performer and recording artist, whose previous calling cards include the mighty Boston Gothicana outfit Black Fortress of Opium.  Hailing from Texas, but with a Turkish mother, Ajda's dynamic vocals and writing straddle East and West, and her unique use of mandolin and guitar contribute to a sound like none you've heard - rootsy yet ethereal.

Mönkeywax is a high-energy cover band specializing in pop culture’s two favorite decades, the 80’s and 90’s... they’re your favorite playlist come to life. This group of five like-minded individuals share an unbridled passion for playing live music and delivering a show that will make you want to dance, sing along, fist pump, and have an outright kick-ass time. While they pride themselves on using the same tuning and feel as the original artist’s recordings, they also put their own spin on familiar tunes with their trademark “covers of covers.”

It’s hard to know what to say about The Impromptus. That’s because the band is You. You’ll select the instruments and the style and guide your high-strung but friendly virtual musicians through their performance. While you’re at it, you’ll choreograph an animated visual artwork that echoes the (presumably ingenious) music flowing from your fingertips.
