The commune is back hosting porchfest! This year we have 3 awesome bands performing:

Food sales will be donated to Home At Last Farm, a rescue farm for horses in New Hampshire. They rescue horses (and goats and chickens and ducks) and rehabilitate them, love them and care for them while getting them ready for their forever homes.

The Tastees are a guitar heavy, jamming, grungy, emotional, improvisational sound experiment.

Covers and originals with influences that include Neil Young, Crazy Horse, The Cure, Keith Richards, Kurt Cobain, David Bowie, Jerry Garcia, Eddie Vedder, Lou Reed, Jimmy Page, Dave Grohl, The Pixies, and The Modern Lovers.

Cam Ackland, dynamic frontman for the Prime Movers, Voodoo Dolls and Port Charles Quintet, on vocals and wailing harp, joined by Kim Ackland on co-voc's. Special band lineup for this event features members of Billy Connors Project and Electrolux Combo feat Brian Worobey on sax

The Pulltabs are comprised of veteran rockers from several locally based Boston area bands. The Pulltabs are heavily influenced by classic and current rock, some pop and the occasional obscure treasure. Their guitar driven sound is sweetened by the vocals of Emmy Farnham, whose singing offers a fresh and versatile listening experience especially when combined with their male vocalist/guitarist Neil Gallagher. Lead guitarist Marty Krakowsky pulls it all together with his inspired guitar licks. Holding down the rhythm section are drummer Bob Goldman and bass player Alexandra Rowe. Plan for an couple sets of familiar tunes with a new twist.
