Dan & the Wildfire began in 2011 as an indie/folk trio. Since then, the Boston-based outfit has evolved into a "soulful rock n' roll" quintet. Though their sound is ever-changing, the core of the band hinges upon carefully crafted lyrics, saturating vocal harmonies, and high-level musicianship.

The Ghost Truckers bring their brand of Truck-based twangy roots rock back to the Somerville Porchfest after a year off. Also, this year we have Tad Overbaugh opening with a set of country tinged rock originals and covers.

The Spicy Condiments are back in Wintah frickin’ Hill for our second Porchfest! When we reunited after a 25-year hiatus, the music was spicy and the good vibes abundant. So we’ve kept at it, raising the bar at epic rehearsals, having about as much fun as we’ve ever had as musicians!
Bringing the improvisational style of The Grateful Dead to classics by such varied artists as The Beatles, ZZ Top, Tom Petty, and Warren Zevon, we’re never quite sure where the music will take us, but we know it will be a heck of a ride.
The band is Scott Farrell, John Kulsick, Paul McKnight, Tom McKnight, Chris Phillips, and Jesse Norris.
Grab your dancin’ shoes and come and join us!

"Jack Slaw"... these two words might evoke the spicy, Cajun-themed coleslaw dish your estranged aunt chose to experiment with at the last family cookout. But in all actuality, one of Boston's most talented, fun-loving (albeit under-the-radar) cover bands goes by this bombastic title. Exploring a multitude of genres/styles, the dueling guitar play of Max and Dan provides a creamy head for the smooth yet heavy rhythmic foundation anchored by Staxx (drums) and Jared (bass). You'll hear old favorites and a few surprises to leave you asking: "Do they really have the AUDACITY to attempt this song??" Yes. Yes we do.
