Ajda the Turkish Queen is a well-established Boston-area performer and recording artist, whose previous calling cards include the mighty Boston Gothicana outfit Black Fortress of Opium.  Hailing from Texas, but with a Turkish mother, Ajda's dynamic vocals and writing straddle East and West, and her unique use of mandolin and guitar contribute to a sound like none you've heard - rootsy yet ethereal.
