Sam Duncan and Zack Gresser
Four friends playing folk acoustic jams on guitar, irish harp, violin and piano. Three female vocalists harmonizing some classics and contemporary songs. Welcome to Craigie Street!
Brocade is a brassless brass band from Somerville, MA. They play borderless, danceable folk music: new, old and original.
Feeling less lucky than usual? Sad to have missed two years of St. Patrick's Day? That all ends here with Trad Girl Summer, a group of traditional Irish musicians who are ready to bring the sounds of your local pub to Porchfest. TGS is a today-only group of fiddlers, bagpipers, flute players, concertina players, and whomever else shows up that day. We'll slash through some reels and jigs and hornpipes and maybe a barndance (by audience request.) Grab a pint, pull up a chair, and tap your foot to some rollicking tunes. Bluesy rock and folk featuring Jeff Rah on the yangqin, a traditional Chinese trapezoidal hammer dulcimer.
Anosha, Patrick Evan and Christian are playing cover songs of well-known rock and pop songs as well as lesser-known indie covers. Refreshments are provided, we're in the backyard of the building. Stop by and bring friends and family!

If you google “the greatest band in the history of recorded music”, Jim's Big Ego is still the top hit. Former-villen Jim Infantino (lead vocals & guitar) finally plays Porchfest, accompanied by Jesse Flack (bass), Dan Cantor (percussion), and Josh Kantor (keyboards). Two ~50 minute sets with an intermission. “Kid safe but not kid oriented”.
Folk, guitar, voice, harmonies. Succulent, sweet, surprises. Bubbles, hula hoops, chalk.
Also, a jazzy set with a twist of lemon. Maybe even a fiddle this year!
Also, sometimes an 80's sing-a-long song on ukulele thrown in, because we're grown ups and we can do what we want.
Want to hear something? If you request it and we know it? We'll play it.
*Also, though not specifically geared towards kids, people of all ages tend to listen joyfully. We think you'll like it!
