Robert Kendall and the Impromptus

Band Description:

It’s hard to know what to say about The Impromptus. That’s because the band is You. You’ll select the instruments and the style and guide your high-strung but friendly virtual musicians through their performance. While you’re at it, you’ll choreograph an animated visual artwork that echoes the (presumably ingenious) music flowing from your fingertips.

Performance Date and Time :

Barrence Whitfield is a full-throttle soul screamer in the spirit of Little Richard, Wilson Pickett and Solomon Burke. He has been described as the owner of one incredible pair of lungs, with limitless energy and unmatched enthusiasm for his music and his audience. Barrence is a rarity in this business--one of a few black, rock n roll singer/entertainers who Spin Magazine says maintains a frenzied performance. His long list of credentials include opening for, and playing with performers like Bo Diddley, Tina Turner, and Etta James.

Chris Kaz, Krs Kaz, and Chris Kazarian, all one and the same, hails from Worcester MA. Think Marvin Gaye and Robert Plant, think John Legend and Jimi Hendrix. Chris is a local music scene veteran you won’t want to miss. You may have seen him throughout his 11 year career with Kids on A Hill, The Frotations or more recently The Velcro Soul. Now he aims to take the stage as Chris Kaz and The C.O.M.P.  leading as a grunge R&B singer.

Dalia & The Big Violin

Band Description:

A musical analogy for baby tigers befriending orangutans, DBV unites a Palestinian-Californian singer (D), and a Minnesotan singing cellist (BV). The pair met at Berklee College of Music around 2016, and together explore styles ranging from folk to motown. The name of the duo was conceived by a 4-year-old audience member in the summer of 2017 on a Boston Harbor Island when he exclaimed, "Mommy, that's a big violin!". Shout out to you, little buddy, wherever you are. Things they both like include: - sad songs - dad jokes - making fun of heteronormativity -writing angry emails

Hank Wonder

Band Description:

Somewhere on the musical map, where the twang of Classic Country meets the grit of Southern Soul, Hank Wonder marks a detour down a sonic stretch of unpaved road. The Boston-based trio of Annie Bartlett (fiddle and viola), Darren Buck (vocals), and Michael Loria (guitar) first came together in 2013, and have since crafted their very own soulful blend of Americana: equal parts down home and gussied up.
