K.Adam White is a web developer, recovering disk jockey, former bartender, hobbyist game designer and erstwhile sculptor. His musical tastes run from mainstream house and indie rock to disturbingly layered niche electronica, all of which can go perfectly well in a DJ set with bagpipes, thank you very much.
Porchfest 2012 is going to be a blast--see you there!

SheBoom began in January, 2010 as a Brazilian drumming class that was meant to last four weeks. Four weeks turned into a few months, then stretched out over the summer and beyond. We meet once a week to compose, practice, and learn new rhythms and beats from our teacher, master Brazilian drummer Marcus Santos.
Our compositions are mash-ups of the music that has been a big part of our lives, and all our compositions are a collaborative effort.

Blossoming from the Slavic heart of Greater Boston, the Somerville Symphony Orkestar is an all-original Eastern European Punk Funk band. The SSO beats Balkan, Klezmer, and traditional Russian music into a funk-punky pulp sure to beef up and beautify your life. The SSO spectacle is a carnivalized punk show that turns its audiences into equal parts mosh-pit and horah.
