Performing at their first Somerville Porchfest, No More Rascals is comprised of three regulars hailing from the Old Oak Dojo Open Mic in JP. For Porchfest, this small second-story band will be taking the stage on a small second-story porch. NMR features the acoustic guitar and vocal stylings of Deborah Frieze and Nejem Raheem, with Andrew Klein on drums (and occasional vocals). NMR crafts spicy folksy-alt-intellectual-rock originals with a dash of off-beat covers, and pairs well with craft beer and manchego. If you want to see these musicians shoeless, come by the Old Oak Dojo in JP the first Thursday of every month.

Strangers by Accident are an indie-folk band hailing from Boston, MA. They mix bright harmonies and acoustic bass with suitcase-drums and electric guitars, along with raw lyrics and songwriting from the heart.
"Strangers By Accident’s self-titled first EP debuted earlier this year, with five songs of forlorn, post-breakup folk full of the heartbreak and uncertainty that colored Sousa’s move to Massachusetts." - Scout Cambridge
