People of Somerville: The Porchupines, having risen from the ashes of Nebulous Mayonnaise, having themselves risen from the ashes of Forced Perspective, almost did not come to be. The devils named "scheduling" and "having better things to do" threatened to tear us apart. But, by a Porchfest miracle, we have become the group who will soon be standing before you, proudly kicking out 90's and 00's jams you forgot you knew all the words to. Join us in this Saturday in celebrating this profoundly unlikely occurrence in whatever state of intoxication suits you best, and may the joy of Porchfest be with you.

Hi! We’re Shitzu Jujitzu, a soul rock band out of Harvard. We are a drummer named Evan, a guitarist named Christian, a guitarist-turned-bassist named Teddy, a singer-turned-singer named Mark, and a bark-bark-kapow mascot. We like to think of ourselves as disciples of the greats like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Allen Stone, and Hiatus Kaiyote.

A mix of Garage Rock, Rock and Roll and Psychedelic sounds

Three piece "Rock Band" band turned garage band. Our interests include rock, roll, puns good and awful, the occasional cover, Scott Pilgrim references, the Eurovision Song Contest, making new friends, dragging said friends to Aqua Hamster shows, Aqua Hamster t-shirt sales, and cleverness.

We are an Americana/ Rock n Roll outfit who has been described as if Johnny Cash and The Clash had a bastard child with Bruce Springsteen. We love playing any place, any time and for everyone.

The Street Holler Serenade is an after school club at SHS which has been inspired by Honk fest, taking back public space, and street performing in general. One thing that makes our group different is that we aim to include electric guitars and basses by using portable battery powered amplifiers

A variety of hits from the 80s and 90s interpreted by individuals representing the following vocations: engineer, research scientist, marketing consultant, development manager, and professor.
