Porch-i-oke is the groovy sing-a-long where the front porch meets the karaoke lounge. Porch-i-oke sings and plays pop tunes like a people-powered karaoke machine. Audience members get lyrics and hand percussion so they can sing and play along. This is our fourth appearance at Somerville Porchfest - and our first year at the Somerville Community Growing Center - we hope you'll join us and sing along! Here's a Spotify list of some of the songs we will be singing and playing: https://open.spotify.com/user/porch-i-oke/playlist/7u2U3jUR7592kYmsQ2szX5

Goodnight Blue Moon - Best Roots Act in the 2016 New England Music Awards & Best Folk/Traditional Act in the 2013 Connecticut Music Awards
The Wolff Sisters - With haunting harmonies and songs reminiscent of washed up wanderers on New England’s salty coasts, Rebecca, Rachael, and Kat stole Boston’s heart as The Wolff Sisters (yes, they’re really sisters).
Noble Dust - A motley collection of reformed band geeks, Noble Dust fills festivals and tiny living rooms alike with their dynamic, lyrically-driven progressive folk pop. They recently released their debut LP with a grant from Club Passim's Iguana Fund.

Gritty Titty is not a band with whom one would want to trifle. For as onlookers are dazzled by the Titty, the Gritty is balling up its fist...and you only notice that fist when it's inches away from the bridge of your nose. It's too late to parry or duck. And as the Gritty is shattering cartilage, the Titty is hooking to the body, targeting vital organs. You've been deceived by the dazzle of the Titty. It's too late. The back of your head is dusting the floor. In this scenario, fists are metaphors for rock and roll.
