Millie is an all-female, four person, versatile cover-band specializing in "sad-girl indie pop". Some of our favorite artists to cover include Mitski, Lucius, No Doubt, and Carole King. Our band includes singer, pianist, and guitarist Jessie Abdow, singer, pianist, guitarist, and bassist Torie Davids, lead-guitarist Gillian Vesely, and drummer and vocalist Mo Nelson. 
 

Acoustic covers, mostly of hits from the 1980s, with excursions into other decades, occasional originals, and nerdy silliness.

VQnC is a singer, songwriter, photographer, and vintage clothing curator. Using music to process her own experiences, VQnC gives emotions new life, and creates a space for listeners find their own meaning. Her signature bass lines, catchy melodies, and meditative repetitions embrace imperfection while celebrating self-care and self-love.
With a bright, colorful aesthetic she channels the queenliness of disco and the soulful flair of female singers like Jessie Ware and Stevie Nicks.

Similar Jones has been wowing audiences for years with a combined sound that’s bigger than their 7 voices. With a heavy focus on blues and rock, influenced by elements of soul, funk, and jazz, this high-energy vocal band uses a powerful rhythm section and bright background vocals to build the foundation for a wide variety of original songs and creative covers that truly capture the Similar Jones sound: one marked by tight harmonies, intricate rhythms, innovative arrangements, and - most importantly - a rock-solid groove.
 

School of HONK is an open community street band and music school. Every Sunday, we take our moves and grooves to the streets, playing lively music to have fun, inspire our neighbors, and help bind our community together.

We are a synth-pop/rock band playing both originals and covers. 

Coraldefense is Emily Mo, an experimental pop musician who sonically illustrates the visions in her mind’s eye with vivid synth textures and tight electronic rhythms. In her 2022 album Housefly Sting, Coraldefense blends glitchy electronics with silky, dreamy synths, pulling influences from artists like Broadcast, Sweet Trip, and Sheena Ringo. Housefly Sting lyrically explores the chaotic ripple effect of human interactions and the ironic emptiness of the infinitely resourceful internet.

For a second year I'll be dragging most of my studio out to Porchfest. Come by for Pop, R&B, and HipHop-influenced covers, originals, and beats... and maybe an acoustic set? This year is going to be a bit loose, it's a busy spring and I'm going to need any material I can get together. Might even open the mic up — if you freestyle, come through and we'll see what happens! The Far Out is a seven-piece band from the north shore of Massachusetts teeming with talented musicians. The lifelong friends are equipped with backgrounds in jazz, theatre, and classical musicianship.
