Opposite People is an afrobeat/funk/world music dance band from Boston. We specialize in performing at outdoor, community events around the Boston area, including numerous appearances at the Jamaica Pond Lantern Parade, Wake Up the Earth Festival, Hyde Park Traffic Jam, Somerville Porchfest, Roslindale Farmers Market, Egleston Square and East Somerville Main Streets, and many more.

Second Line Social Aid and Pleasure Society Brass Band is a 30-piece "raucous, stomp-your-foot-and-belt-out-the-choruses" New Orleans-style street band, based in Somerville and Cambridge. Our mission is to fight for social justice causes and support community events while having fun and spreading joy through our music. We are also a part of the organizing force behind HONK!, a festival of activist street bands that takes place every October in Davis Square.

The Woo Factor Band is a Boston based band comprised of good friends and some of the best musicians in the world. Their style is an eclectic blend of R&B, Hip-Hop, and Neo-Soul with elements of Rock and Free Jazz. With this fusion of genres, the Woo Factor creates a sound that can only be described as a breath of fresh air for the ears and the soul. Their influences are Jill Scott, Robert Glasper, Bilal, The Roots, Michael Jackson, Lauryn Hill, D’angelo and many more.

Funk & Disorderly (aka FunkDis) is a 10 piece band featuring an assortment of brass, vocals, and rhythm instruments. We visit this porch from Arlington Heights. Stop by and hear us play a variety of hits ranging from motown, rock, jazz, ska, R&B, and funk!
