HausKat is a Boston based band whose sound captures the tawdry romanticism of the 1980's. Drummer Daniel Smithwick lays down the band's synthy beats on acoustic set while Chris Taylor ably handles the iconic riffs you know from INXS, The Cure, and Tears for Fears recalling all those 80's tunes whose sounds you heard as a child and can never forget. Producer and keysman Ian Butterworth brings the band's feel to a climatic perfection. The rumbling bass lines coming from Dr. Kevin Schwartz have been known to sonically heal the sick while lead guitarist Ethan Lacy devours every technical detail of each face-melting solo.
