Hailing from Somerville, MA, Sam Reid & the Riot Act is an acoustic guitar-driven rock band with a true bluegrass soul. This American roots band features plenty of flatpicking and three-part harmonies punctuated by a driving rhythm section.

If you've ever walked the streets, subways, music venues, galleries, coffee shops, and parks in Somerville and beyond, you have seen and/or heard the work of Dan Blakeslee. A prolific visual artist and musician, Dan has not only illustrated a plethora of album covers, a beer label series, over 600 rock posters, and an image that raised thousands of dollars for victims of the Boston Marathon tragedy, he also writes and performs country folk songs as Dan Blakeslee while his alter-ego, Dr. Gasp, spirits into Octobers with scary-folk songs for all the ages.

Rachel Marie is a cunning wordsmith, and precociously sophisticated. Clear and mature vocal production colors songs that are relevant, relatable, and far-reaching. The social awareness of folk meets the introspection of the singer-songwriter tradition with a moderate dose of snark.
This Bethlehem, PA native has made regular appearances at Musikfest and at the acclaimed folk venue Godfrey Daniels where she has shared the stage with Antje Duvekot. Beyond her hometown, she has made herself known in North Jersey as a member of the Folk Project and continues to expand her musical horizons.
