The Soggy Po' Boys were born on Mardi Gras, 2012. Makes perfect sense given their name, and the fact that they’re a New Orleans flavored octet. Residing in Seacoast, New Hampshire, the Po’ Boys have been honing their craft every Tuesday night, first at the late Barley Pub, and now at Sonny’s Tavern – both in the band’s hometown of Dover.

School of Honk is Somerville’s newest street band! It’s an opportunity for anyone, at any age, to learn an instrument, or a rhythm, or some dance moves, or otherwise help us make lively, spontaneous music together. Goose Chase is everything from old time to indie rock with some country and some bluegrass along the way. Featuring Kyle Ramey on the guitar, Kathryn Carlson on fiddle, Andrew Inglis on rhythm guitar, Nathan Varga on upright bass, Greg Hum on drums, and Jessica Robertson on vocals and percussion.

the lidaBros are Boston's newest and (most likely) youngest Barbershop Quartet!
Not that that's saying much given the demographics of Barbershop Singing. Our band (can we call it that?) consists of four of Boston's most singer-y singers, all four of us having sung many songs in many places. We play songs that we know deep in our bones. Jeff, a master craftsman, lays down a righteous groove. Vocalist Justin bares his fundamentalist Southern soul. Bassist McG looks for new frontiers once again. Guitarist Hilton yearns to find the juicy heart in a song. Together, we wander a smoky musical landscape, telling vivid tales of heat, dust, and dreams.

Jamie Kallestad is a folk/rock singer-songwriter born and raised in Cloquet, MN. A longtime guitarist and vocalist for the MN stomp-grass trio Saint Anyway, and the MA folk duo 90-Mile Portage, Jamie recently released Hungry Heartland, his first album as a solo singer-songwriter. Jamie will be joined by Nick Rawson on bass guitar for Porchfest, and Nick makes music sound better. Some of Jamie's favorite songwriters are Bob Dylan, Lucinda Williams, and John Prine - he'll probably sing some of their songs too.
