The By & By

The By & By is a part country blues and part modern jazz, taking a broad scope on American Roots music. Vocalist Leah Hennessy’s bluesy and jazz-inflected vocals anchor the creative counterpoint between Jacob Means's mandolin and Brad Barrett's bass. Together, they dance between time signatures, never losing the groove. The resulting music is inventive and yet familiar, forging new territory for the American string band sound.
