Indie-folk songstress Magen Tracy brings bittersweet ballads and fierce anthems. Soulful vocals, poignant songwriting, & intricate pianos with a strong dash of sleazy swagger & alt-country twang. “It’s like if Tori Amos and Lucinda Williams made out.” This duo performance will feature Eric Donohue on bass!

Santosha is a Boston area based Kirtan band lead by Naomi Edelman on lead vocals and harmonium. Santosha creates original compositions using tradition sanskrit and the variety of musical backgrounds of it's members Paul Erlich (guitar), Alison Dagger (flute), and Lauren Calista (backup vocals and drum). Santosha's music is a spiritual experience that will release your inner struggles and provide you with a beautiful and enlightening meditational practice to feel energized and renewed. You can find the band hosting Kirtan events around the Somerville/Arlington area or accompanying Yoga classes and other meditational gatherings.

Ryan Alvanos is a poet by training, editor by trade, songwriter by passion, busker by calling, and whim-blown vagabond by good fortune. Funky gospel rockers Poor Everybody will headline Porchfest at The Goondocks this year. Guitarist Dan Pugatch will open the day with some solo action, and WMBR's Radio Ninja will be keeping the beat for the rest of the day. Come by for some hula hooping, grilling action, and lawn dancing!

Singer/Songwriter Mary Patterson performs songs of her own creation as well as covers from well loved singers such as, Patty Griffin, Kris Delmhorst, and Deb Talan (from the Weepies). Her voice is strong and engaging. She will be accompanied by fellow singer Suzanne, who will share some songs and harmonies. Although not specifically geared towards kids, people of all ages have enjoyed Mary's performances in the past. And if you have a special request, she'd be happy to try it out on the spot!
