Paper Tigers is an indie-alt rock band from Allston, MA.  Described as ʻpowerful and anthemic’, their music is a forceful blend of soaring vocals, dynamic guitars, and energetic drums. The band earned a reputation as one of the city’s best new bands, both on stage and on record, fueled by a spirited tenacity and confident swagger seldom seen from new acts.

12-1pm: Unconventional piano arrangements of familiar tunes by Jeff Shane, usually with a funky twist. Also an appearance by local ukelelist and vocalist. 
1-2: Guitar-led band of the Moretti cousins playing a mix of old country standards, guitar-led jams, and some good ol' classic rock.

Eight Foot Manchild grew out of friendships formed in the HONK Festival community. After playing in various bands in this network for a number of years, bandleader Dylan Foley formed EFM out of a desire to synthesize elements of stoner rock, doom metal, and street brass funk, and throw in a bit of hip hop sampling aesthetic for good measure. The aim was to find a sonic crossroads somewhere between Electric Wizard, Budos Band, King Crimson, and Wu-Tang Clan. The lyrical content, inspired mainly by the irreverent humor of Frank Zappa, draws on everything from religion and philosophy to kung fu and Godzilla movies.

Double Star mixes punk riffs, high-energy horns, and lush harmonies to create pop tunes that defy easy categorization. 

Kaiser Jr. is a continuation of a project formerly known as "Olde Boy." The music is instrumental rock of varying styles. The music is largely composed, but there is an improvisational element to some of it.

We're Boston-area based and consist of members who have been in bands/performing in the Boston Area for over a decade. Some of these bands include Whiskee, The Dirty Dottys, Wisdom Toof and more.
