Headlining 81 Belmont's back porch is Post West, Somerville's own indie folk pop goth quartet. Post West combines guttural crooning built on indie pop structures and formalities, textured by the rustic influence of harmonica and lap steel. Tyler Nakatsu and Dylan Protus, front men on guitar and drums are joined by Barry Hall on lap of San Francisco's The (Ex) Cat Heads, and Tobin Rodriguez on bass from turn of the century moderately influential indie giants True Love Always. Post West's PorchFest set is sponsored by Alternating Current, 88.1 WMBR. Limited edition koozies available at doors.
