The Pluto Tapes are a largely fictional, and occasionally real, catchy-indie-rock band made up primarily of Andy Hicks and his imaginary friends. Occasionally, he's joined on-stage by drummer Brad Smith (ex-Strangerways) and others, who accompany Andy's brilliant displays of charmingly self-deprecating loudpop. Also, they do a mean cover of "When I Grow Up" from MATILDA. Nerds, theater kids, and people who genuinely like '90s-'00s half-hit wonders like Abandoned Pools, Ash, and Fretblanket... come thrill to the atomically charged sounds of The Pluto Tapes. What else you got planned... a Shadowrun tournament? A Pete & Pete marathon? A *family*? Bah.

M.G. Lederman

Mel Lederman began his solo career in 2007, following the split of his longtime band Victory at Sea. Along with his guitarist, Mike Joy, Mel has released several LP's in the past few years. Mel is also the piano player for The Thalia Zedek Band (Thrill Jockey.)

Pale Monsters (short acoustic set) - Chris &amp; Kevin from Pale Monsters open up with a brief set featuring songs from their new EP

Die Nacktschnecken band is composed of 3 permanent musicians, playing banjo, guitar, uke, mandolin, clarinet, and keys. A few original songs supplement a carefully curated collection of covers and standards from German, Irish, and American tradition. We play from 3-4pm.

Connor Storms longs to add the grease back into the singer/songwriter genre. His indie folk-stylings contain traces of both punk and country, with lyrics exploring inner-turmoil, romance, and nostalgia. His small ensemble of electric bass (Kevin Storms), alto-saxophone (James O’Connor), and harmony-vocals (Susanna Kavee) bring his music to reality and vitality. We’ll see you on the moon.
