Aaron and the Dream is a genre defying full band outfit from the mind of singer-songwriter and producer Aaron Emmanuel. Their songs probe the corners of the psyche and vulnerability and invite the audience to do the same. Their sound includes elements of rock, hip-hop, electronica, and soul. Composer, Producer, Performer, Artist and DJ. While getting a degree in music theory and history with a focus on electronic and computer music at Columbia University, Anton began collaborating with theater and dance, scoring award-winning productions at both Columbia and The Juilliard School. While his multimedia installations have graced stages as lofty as Lincoln Center his heart belongs in underground dance music and culture. He continues to explore the intersections between music and motion through multi-channel sound installations, as a DJ or face in the crowd on the dance floor.
