Groove Think contemplates that which is impossible to see and hold yet impossible to ignore. Every week we examine the sounds that nod heads, snap fingers, and bring the World to its feet. Whether it's cooled out house, blazing salsa, neck snapping rap beats, the deepest of funk, the boogiest of disco, or grooves without name, we'll be exploring whatever makes your body and mind inexplicably pulse.

Boston lyrical pugilist Sur5ILL (pronounced "Survival") embarked on a solo career in 2013 after having been involved with the jam band, The LE Project, as a vocalist and rhythm guitarist. He began to furiously rap about non-conventional topics such as being a black nerd, operating as a wingman at a bar, or satirizing the corporate workplace.
Sur5ILL released his third Hip Hop mixtape, entitled “Exception,” on Oct. 16, 2015. It is available for free download and streaming at https://soundcloud.com/sur5ill/sets/exception.

OvertimeOften, aka O.T.O, is a diverse hip hop artist that you can't seem to fit in a certain sub genre of hip hop. His music can range from being as gritty as the Roxbury streets that raised him to a smooth groove that you can chill out to on a gorgeous summer evening. No matter the vibe, O.T.O always brings his best lyrically with a flow that has been recognized in the underground hip hop scene. O.T.O has performed all over Boston, including festivals with an audience of over 5,000. Enjoy your Porchfest and be sure to groove out with O!
