Handmade, homespun bluegrass for easy summer days.

Tupelo Junction and the Jan and Catey Duo will each be performing a 1 hour set at 77 Newbury Street. The Jan and Catey Duo will perform from 12:00PM - 1:00PM and Tupelo Junction will perform from 1:00PM - 2:00PM.

Donations will be collected for Conor Fortin's (Tupelo Junction) service trip to Haiti this summer to work at the Fondation Pour Les Enfants d'Haiti's Children's Village (orphanage) in Port Au Prince.

Tupelo Junction is a folkgrass cover band out of Somerville, MA that dabbles in the style of roots, country, and bluegrass.

The Jan and Catey Duo is an original contemporary jazz/folk duo from Boston's own Berklee College of Music.

The Fort Point Ramblers play bluegrass and more! Bill Monroe to Pink Floyd and back again. The regular Ramblers are:

...and we're round it out with a few "special guests" including Hope Swift on mandolin and a mystery bass player!

Old songs for modern times. Great, old songs are taking on a new life with The Splinters, featuring vocal harmonies and blazing instrumentals. Influenced by traditional bluegrass, swing, with a little bit of rock and roll, The Splinters produce a unique interpretation of this timeless material.

A range of bluegrass and Americana songs, including some originals by Somerville resident and band member John O'Brien, covers of many other songs, and a few kids' songs to keep our younger audience members entertained. This will be our third year on this porch. Our instruments include guitar, mandolin, fiddle, banjo, bass, and bones.

Billy Boy is a rag tag group of knockaround musicians bringing you bluegrass, country, folk, and original tunes. With Tina Armstead on banjo, John Lussier and Patrick Fodor on guitar, and Emily Pacheco on uke, Billy Boy is playing all that good old-timey material mixed with some contemporary covers, a few songs about Jesus for all you sinners and some songs about sinning for all you saints.

We are a group of friends who love to pick some tunes whenever we can! We love Porchfest and how it brings the community together! Let it begin!
