Annabelle's Revival

Music Genre:
Band Description:

Annabelle's Revival came together from a couple of friends who met while jamming, as so many groups do.

We've taken our love of traditional and modern bluegrass with a mix of other styles, throwing in our own special twist of course,
on the road - or at least as far as the front porch.

Come by and say hi!

John Brunette (bass)
Mark Therieau (guitar)
Jon Pachter (banjo)
Deborah Melkin (guitar)
Alex O'Brien (mandolin)

Hank Wonder

Band Description:

Somewhere on the musical map, where the twang of Classic Country meets the grit of Southern Soul, Hank Wonder marks a detour down a sonic stretch of unpaved road. The Boston-based trio of Annie Bartlett (fiddle and viola), Darren Buck (vocals), and Michael Loria (guitar) first came together in 2013, and have since crafted their very own soulful blend of Americana: equal parts down home and gussied up.

Angela Sawyer

Music Genre:
Porchfest Sub Genre:
Band Description:

Angela Sawyer is a professional middle-aged-nice-lady from Boston. She's terribly artsy, and runs 2 weekly plus 2 monthly comedy shows, one of which is in her house. She also plays horrible music no one likes and works 3 or 7 jobs because death comes for us all so your Google Calendar had better flow like Niagra, damnit. She recently played at Scotland's Tectonics festival, as well as in several crumbling noise basements. She improvises on voice, hunting calls, and electronics. She put her home address online, as well as a bunch of social media that doesn't have consistent branding.

The Splinters

Music Genre:
Band Description:

The Splinters
Combining bluegrass with country and folk roots, the Splinters offer an energetic take on traditional music. The Metro called the sound “bluegrass mayhem” and they were listed as a “band to watch”, during the 2018 Somerville Porchfest by NBC Boston. The repertoire spans from haunting renditions of old songs to raucous bluegrass and fiddle tunes to more modern classics.
