HONK

Hornography is a brass-fueled pop/rock/dance/funk band based in Somerville, MA.

We perform original arrangements of an eclectic mix of music from the last four decades, including TV themes, film music, and top 40 hits.

Our curiously strong blend of trumpet, saxophone, trombone, melodica, bass guitar, and drums makes us a potent musical force. Kids love dancing to our music, and adults love basking in the glow of nostalgia that floats above us halo-like wherever we go. ​

School of HONK is a community street band inspired by the radical marching bands that attend Somerville's annual HONK! Festival every year. The group is open to ANYONE, of any age or musical experience, and we parade every Sunday afternoon around Davis Square. Come hear "Billie Jean," "Ghostbusters Theme," and many other funky popular favorites as we pay homage to the age-old streetband tradition with songs, new and old.
