An all-star band focusing on Afro-Cuban and Latin Bugalu material, with a healthy balance of reverence and irreverence. Serious party music!
Latin Bugalu is a crossover genre invented primarily by Newyorican musicians in the 1960s. It lies somewhere between the stately Cuban sounds of the 50s and the manic high salsa of the 70s.
