Beatrice is an acoustic offshoot of the rock group FORTRAN, which is a a rock group and a massachusetts institution of technocracy that has been around Cambridge/Somerville since like 2006. Q Division Studios is a world class recording studio in Davis Square. We will be having various studio related performers playing in outside the studio, as well as a musician and engineer focused yardsale.

Amy Kucharik is a singer-songwriter, dancer, and DJ from Somerville, MA. Amy writes and performs songs on ukulele, and has been featured as a vocalist with several local and national musicians. Her influences include Bessie Smith and the Asylum Street Spankers, and her vocals have been compared to Lena Horne. Her song "Dance Crush Blues" has been DJed at blues dance events across the country and as far away as Israel.

Join library favorite Jordan Voelker for a sing along! Suitable for children through preschool, caregivers, and families. Hear tunes from the fiddle, ukulele, and autoharp. If we are lucky she will also bring her musical saw!

Jordan is a Somerville resident who plays and teaches viola and violin around Boston. She performs and records with the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, Callithumpian Consort, Larkin Grimm, Carter Creek Revival, and other old and new music groups.

Kristina and Joebear met at Emerson College in downtown Boston in 2006 and fell in love with each others' mutual interest in stringed instruments, bearded men, and the sea. Kristina is originally from Leominster, MA and Joebear grew up under the salty sun in Wellfleet, MA. Together they have traveled the USA (to the west coast and back again), and are now continuing their musical adventure in Somerville, MA. You can check out some of their music at the links below:
