The Ways & Means Committee is a Roots-Rock band drawing upon the record collections of our hippy antecedents and the spirit of the Indy revolution.

Jack Slaw is a fun-lovin' rock/blues/funk band based out of the Boston area. Boasting an eclectic arsenal of classic covers, accompanied by a handful of inventive originals, they are NOT ones to let a mighty Porchfest crowd go to waste. Dan DiBacco operates as lead-singer/guitarist, followed by Jared Marshall vibin' on the bass, Max Doyle making his guitar gently weep, and Michael Staxfeld laying down the beat extra thicccc on drums. Come party with us on Willow Ave-- we can't wait to see you there!

If you google “the greatest band in the history of recorded music”, Jim's Big Ego is still the top hit. Former-villen Jim Infantino (lead vocals & guitar) returns for a 2nd Porchfest, (probably) accompanied by Jesse Flack (bass), Dan Cantor (percussion), and Josh Kantor (keyboards). “Kid safe but not kid oriented”.

The Galvanics blend classic- and grunge-era rock, with a touch of prog and psychedelia. We play mostly originals.

A fresh combination of old friends and family, Kerp and the Jerks celebrates the classic mix of electric guitar, bass, and drums layered with vocals to form what is perhaps best described as...Rock. We love all sorts of music, so don't be surprised if we span decades and genres of influences in a set consisting of both originals and covers. Former members of the Functionals, Jeff Demas and Jeremy Kerpka, combine forces with cousin Lindsey Glassen, longtime collaborator Dr. Pat Titterington, and Sir James Sherman. This Porchfest performance will represent multiple returns from musical retirement as well as a debut. We are excited to share the afternoon with you on Simpson Ave!
