We're a four-piece pop/rock/synth band from Somerville, MA. Formed on New Year's Eve Eve 2011, we've found a sound that walks the line between energetic, erratic pop/rock and synthesizer experimentation.
Armed with a fortress of keyboard sounds and progressions, guitar that falls under the category of rock without being excessive, anachronistic yet oddly-appropriate jazz/funk basslines, and dynamic drums that punch it all into existence, we want to offer only enough familiarity to bridge our listeners into exciting territories.
We've just distilled all of that into a 5-track EP we're really excited about called Strange Resolutions.

A collaboration of folk/bluegrass/americana/rock musicians in the area come together to participate in just another event that makes Somerville a magical place to live. In years past we have had talent from the following bands: Della Mae, Billy Wylder, The Surviving Kenneallys, Girls Guns and Glory, Heartbeat, Three Tall Pines, Creek River, The Barnyard Birds, and The South East Express Way. Time will tell who will be in town, but as usual, it will be a good old fun time.

Taking a cheeky and emotionally candid approach to songwriting, PowerSlut combines lyrical dexterity with honest and raunchy rock n' roll, then packs it into a miniskirt and sneakers and shoots it all over your face. Formed as a three-piece in late 2012, singer/guitarist Burner Herzog, drummer BW and guitarist JB carried on until adding bassist Jake OD early in 2013. The "Breast of PowerSlut" EP emerged in January 2013, with a full length album due in mid-2014. PowerSlut is currently recording with Joel Simches of Watch City Studios.

Die Nacktschnecken comprise of 3 permanent and 1 guest musician, playing banjo, guitar, uke, mandolin and keys. A few original songs supplement a carefully curated collection of covers and traditionals. We’ll be sharing our 2-4pm time slot with our neighboring band " A Proper Mob".
