Based in Somerville, this is the fourth performance at Somerville Porchfest and first live stream ever that The Erlenmeyers will play. Since the Covid 19 crisis has forced a shelter-in-place, the band was forced to cancel all upcoming shows for 2020 promoting their new album Mighty Fine (available on sound cloud: https://soundcloud.com/theerlenmeyers) and this will be the first performance since the shutdown. The band recorded the live stream on Friday May 8 at 5 P.M. on a porch outdoors and appropriately social distanced. The Erlenmeyers, an electric powertrio based in Somerville, Massachusetts is back for our fourth Porchfest. We play an infectious mix of originals and covers and a variety of genres including rock, country, reggae, and jazz. Our Porchfest lineup includes frontman Jameson "Scrable Johnson" Hannon on guitar and vocals, Chris "Mitchy Mitchems" Mitchell on drums and we would like to welcome back our original bassist for one show only Robert "Bobby D" Dross back into the fold.
