A musical analogy for baby tigers befriending orangutans, DBV unites a Palestinian-Californian singer (D), and a Minnesotan singing cellist (BV). The pair met at Berklee College of Music around 2016, and together explore styles ranging from folk to motown. The name of the duo was conceived by a 4-year-old audience member in the summer of 2017 on a Boston Harbor Island when he exclaimed, "Mommy, that's a big violin!". Shout out to you, little buddy, wherever you are. Things they both like include: - sad songs - dad jokes - making fun of heteronormativity -writing angry emails

An eclectic and bizarre mix of Communist anthems, old westerns, Springsteen and Biggie covers, and whatever other nonsense gets poured into the soup. Hailed by NKNews.com as the "next coming of the Kim regime", fronted by strange characters, odd dictators, and other castaways, this band is sure to be erased from your memory like a FEMA Camp.
