We are a group of friends who love to spend time playing bluegrass, folk, and americana tunes. The winter is over so let's move on out to the porch! The time has come!!

The Mass Whole Notes are a semi-professional, co-ed, a cappella group which came together in early 2010. Our members are from Somerville, Quincy, JP, Brookline, Brighton, and Allston. Our current repertoire includes songs by Paul Simon, Fitz and the Trantrums, Bruno Mars, Fun., Macklemore, Of Monsters and Men, and The Temptations just to name a few. We like to sing a wide variety of music, and we are passionate about making great music, performing and having fun!

A fun loving band that plays awesome tunes. Come and hangout with our band and we'll play some sweet tunes for you. We pull our sound from multiple directions: The Band, Milk Carton Kids, Paul Simon and other Americana artists. Imagine yourself on a beautiful spring day listening to some tuneful and melodic original songs, sipping a beverage, and meeting some fun local people. Come check us out May 16. Cheers!

A collaboration of folk/bluegrass/americana/rock musicians in the area come together to participate in just another event that makes Somerville a magical place to live. In years past we have had talent from the following bands: Della Mae, Billy Wylder, The Surviving Kenneallys, Girls Guns and Glory, Heartbeat, Three Tall Pines, Creek River, The Barnyard Birds, and The South East Express Way. Time will tell who will be in town, but as usual, it will be a good old fun time.
