Jessie Jeanne & Dancers is a new Brooklyn/Boston based dance collective whose mission is to collaborate and present multi-disciplinary art performances. The “collective” environment is an important element to the creative process of this group. Each member contributes not only his technical skills but also bring his individual life experiences to the work. The collective's process is a laboratory for experimentation in choreographic research and design investigation. This model of working practice not only empowers each artist involved but it also propels the work forward into territories not previously explored. Performance credits include but are not limited to: ArtBeat, Dance for World Community, Dixon Place, Brooklyn Music School, Triskelion Arts, ShapeShifter Lab, Actors Fund Arts Center, Green Street Studios, and the Mills Gallery.
