Eva Gertz (joined by Alex Lascelles and Jacob Baron) hails from Melrose, MA. Her songs weave relatable discoveries into a heartfelt colorful sound reminiscent of 70’s songsters like Carole King and Joni Mitchell. She makes brilliant DIY music videos and paints her own album art. She's a Berklee College of Music grad, lived for 6 yrs in NYC, arranged for a Broadway event, and performed on cruise ships. Following 5 months of a solo cross-country road trip in 2021, she started as an associate professor at Berklee and is thrilled to be playing her first porchfest as a new Somerville resident.

Cahill is a songwriting duo from Boston, Massachusetts consisting of members Scott O’Brien and Robert Antonelli. The group’s earliest songwriting and studio collaborations began with a collection of demos recorded in the early 2000's, and they have since gone on to release a total of six studio albums and a live compilation in a span of almost 20 years. Cahill blends various tones from several different genres including rock, alternative, pop, country, and americana.

A rag tag gang of folks who met by chance and decided they could make it in the Porchfest big leagues if they just practiced a couple times.

Playing a mix of covers, originals, and instrumental jams. Guitar, Violin, Drums, Vocals, Bass, & keys. We're going to try and span the spectrum of multiple genres, but you could say that singer/songwriter folk is the core sound. We will dabble in some funk, some indie, and even maybe an Irish hymn!

Luke Ogea is a singer-songwriter from Marquette, Michigan who blends the sounds of classic country/rock with folk influences. He is currently studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts where he is making a name for himself in the Boston music scene. He is also in the process of recording his debut single as well as an EP. He'll be performing with his band, Luke Ogea & Co. They also regularly perform at venues such as The Burren and The Bebop.

Portsmouth, NH based ambient folk artist

Gatch is a Boston-based indie artist who specializes in making music you’d want to dance around your kitchen to. From modern-to-throwback R&B-to-yacht rock jams to moody indie bops, Gatch creates a live music experience that is sure to move you (or at least make you move). He has performed numerous sold out shows across the Northeast and tours regularly along the east coast. Matt Burmeister is also a Boston-based Singer-Songwriter (and a frequent collaborator of Gatch). He is a former President of the Northeastern University Songwriting Club, and looks forward to rocking out at Porchfest!

BOB is Suzanne Boucher and Reed Butler performing their original indie mix of blues, rock and jazzy pop. They have been working and writing together for the past six years. Originally Kevin O’Connor joined BOB as the trio Butler O’Connor Boucher.

Bird Friend is a weird folk band from Portsmouth, New Hampshire & Somerville, Massachusetts. 

Rooted in folk and DIY, Bird Friend's music also incorporates elements of country, punk, psychedelia, and spoken word - touching on themes of displacement and decay, change, loss and unease in the modern age.
