Theremin versions of songs that are completely inappropriate for that instrument (mostly punk and new wave classics). We'll throw in a few standards, to keep the audience on their toes.
Note: We expect to perform three identical half-hour sets from 2:00-2:30, 2:45-3:15, and 3:30-4:00.

Stephanie Melikian (drummer) and Gilmore Tamny (guitar, vox). Pro-art, pro-rawk, pro-lady, pro-punk, pro-sound. Anti-other things. We are just about to put out a record on Bandcamp, so the link will be updated very soon.

We are four guys originally from other parts of the world now living in Somerville, who have been playing off and on for 15+ years with various other bands, who started this band specifically to play Porch Fest! Adam Meuse (vocals, guitar), Eli Connarton (guitar), John Lukason (bass, vocals), and Keller McGuinness (drums, vocals) will be playing a set of classic rock and punk cover tunes, sure to be familiar to many!

“Guns of Brighton” are a traditional Punk firm out of Boston, MA. Their songs channel the urgency of the Clash and Social Distortion, along with the song craft and vocal harmonies of Green Day and Dag Nasty.
There is only one question Markie D., Ant Aubrey, and Lee Holland have for you. That is; “Do you wanna hear the sound of ‘Guns’?” Well, if your answer’s affirmative then follow our “Call to Arms!” The debut album “A Selfish Call to Arms” drops in April, 2014!
Playing "Porchfest" and other Boston area events / shows throughout the Spring of 2014!

Young & Old - Ben Morse, Galen Mook, and more
Octopus Prime - Space rock opera music. Somewhere between Weezer and the Cars but with a focus on Doomsday devices and Alien Death Rays. Tim Armstrong (not the Rancid guy) and assorted musicians.
Maybe Hot Molasses will play, we're not sure yet. They're good though.

A Proper Mob play an eclectic mix of all original material influenced by trip hop, roots music, post-punk. Influencing artists range from The Fall to Portishead, from Tom Waits to Elbow.
