Plumes is a 4-piece indie rock/folk/pop group from Boston, MA. Through 2 albums and 4 EPs, they’ve established a robust catalogue of songs driven by melodic guitar lines, vocal harmonies, introspective + sincere lyrics, and sneakily complex rhythm sections, which they bring together with gusto in their unfailingly energetic live shows. Plumes consists of John Thorsen (bass, guitar, vox), Ben Long (drums, vox), and Tim Green (guitar, vox), with Clio Fleece completing the live lineup (bass, piano, vox).

MELLOW MUSIC TO SOOTHE THE SOUL
Acoustic guitarist Will Baird transforms popular songs into new arrangements with a mellow, relaxing style. His bright, resonant acoustic guitar and lush, beautiful backing tracks create a unique "full ensemble" sound. His instrumentals range from the music of James Taylor to Coldplay to U2. He has entertained almost ten thousand listeners in the past two years and recently moved to the area.

Jeremy Van Cleave was a multi-instrumentalist in a number of local Boston-based bands for almost ten years. In 2015, after doing some national touring, he decided to set out on his own and start writing, singing, and performing his own original songs. A few EP’s and a record later he has joined up with an all-star group of local Boston musicians to form the band ‘The Mail’. Set to release their debut album this Spring, ‘The Mail’ combines folk music elements with modern-day rock and dance music. Mixed all together you get a combination of alternative music that sounds modern with a nod to the past.
