"The design I chose was inspired by archival prints of Arts & Crafts era wallpaper patterns designed by William Morris. While the style may seem at first to be a departure from the rest of my work I consider it to be one more way of exploring the beauty of mundane objects which has been one of the major overarching themes behind my work for a number of years."
