Abby Neale will create a giant hand-painted folded fortune teller made out of gessoed canvas that the ArtBeat attendees can play with together and fortune tell to each other. Instead of the classic numbers and colors, this fortune teller will feature paintings of local wildlife and pollinator-friendly wildflowers. The fortunes will feature lessons from local wildlife in Sommerville and will help residents to connect with the wildlife in the city by looking at wildflowers, birds, and other animals.
Join the fortune teller on Dover Street (Pollinator Alley), and connect with Somerville wildlife from 12:00 PM to 4:45 PM.
