The “Body as Protest” exhibition explores the theme of self expression and resistance using protest as a form of community and liberation. The exhibiting artists are activists that have demonstrated the strength of community and the liberation that comes from standing up for the justice and strength they believe in. Utilizing mediums such as photography, mixed media, and painting artists share their own personal narratives to inspire others to use their voices and bodies as instruments of change, promoting unity and empowerment within their communities.
Participating artists include Nikki Silva, Gregory Hazel, Alonso Nichols , Ravjot Mehek Singh, and Mona Sartoveh.
