Karen Edlund was a long-time Somerville resdient, an activist, mosaicist and co-founder of the New England Mosaic Society (NEMS). In her memory, members of NEMS created mosaic stones that were placed along Irving Street where she had lived. A map of the 32 stones is laminated and located outside her house, #10. The stones are an amazing memorial and also a wonderful treasure hunt for children and adults alike.
